Fabrication, Repair & Painting of Crude Storage Tanks For Oil Industry
We have all the facilities required for undertaking repairs and painting of Crude storage tanks of on shore oil industries and their refineries. These activities require huge scaffolding requirements, mobile generators, air compressors, Sand blasting equipment and painting equipment , material handling equipment like Cranes and fork lifts besides complete office and storage facility at work site.
We have undertaken 02 major crude storage tank works for Cairn India Ltd (Vedanta Limited). These tanks were of following sizes
- Tank 405 – 79 mtr dia x 10.8 mtr height( 53000 cu.mtr capacity)
- Tank 401 – 5 mtr dia x 13.4 mtr height ( 45,200 cu.mtr capacity)
Approx 140 tons of steel was renewed for Tank 405 and complete work completed within 3 months. Approx 100 tons steel renewal and 17,500 sq.mtrs area for blasting and paining as per their paint scheme was undertaken for Tank 401
The complete repair activity was undertaken as per API 653 standards
Repairs to 1000 Cu.Mtr Tanks of ONGC
Besides the above tanks we have successfully undertaken major repairs including renewal of tank tops for 02 nos 1000 cu.mtr tanks at ONGC on shore facility at Kesanapalli. The work was undertaken with all safety measures while the facility is in operating condition and very high risk of fire due to gaseous fumes.
On completion of complete refurbishment, the tanks were calibrated by authorized agency.
